This program provides advanced skills and knowledge across the complex areas of both business and information systems. This unique program enables students to achieve the aims and objectives of both the current Swinburne MISM and MBA courses in the most time/cost-efficient and effective way. The information systems component is concerned with the application of information technology to support organisations in the conduct of their business. It examines both the organisational issues and the techniques and technology required for the analysis, design and implementation of business solutions, with an emphasis on electronic commerce. The business administration component not only offers the opportunity to acquire contemporary management knowledge and skills, it also provides students with the ability to apply that knowledge in an innovative, creative and entrepreneurial way.

Giriş koşulları:

Students must have a recognised bachelor degree at a suitably high level and at least three years relevant professional experience. Students should also fulfil any one of the following English language requirements: satisfactory completion of the Swinburne English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Level 2 program with a teacher's recommendation for the required level of study; obtaining a minimum IELTS overall band score of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0; TOEFL (Paper-based) minimum score of 575 (with Test of Written English (TWE) score of 5) or TOEFL (Internet-based) minimum score of 85 with no band less than 18.

Students should complete the application form and attach it with the following documents: application fee payment details (credit card details, bank draft or bank cheque), evidence of English proficiency (certified copies of IELTS or TOEFL results) or swinburne placement test, certified copies of previous academic results, any other relevant documents, i.e. letters from schools or employers, folio (for Design or Performing Arts courses, excluding Certificate IV Design) and if students are applying for advanced standing/credit transfers, include certified and translated (English) copies of the syllabus from their previous/current study program.
